Hmmm..all I had ever heard was how Zombi and Z2 weren't related. I had no idea about the, (supposed or otherwise), Dawn connection. Would the "proper" order be: Dawn-Zombi2 and then Zombi at anytime you like since there is no connection to either film? More and more curious I do say!! |

DAWN is ZOMBI in Italy. It made truckloads of money. Savvy producer Fabrizio DeAngelis commissioned a rip/off unofficial sequel called ZOMBI 2. Fulci got the gig. Film was released as a followup in Italy. Made more money than DAWN. Jerry Gross bought the US rights. Released it in North America as ZOMBIE.

Christ on my crotch..while reading up about Zombi 2 and all the ins and outs between the Dawn movie, I read that there was a third sequel as well. Sooo.lemme guess..no connection to the other two movies? Or is it a follow-up to something else?
..and most importantly is it on par with the other two films?

Zombi 3 and Zombi 4 are awesome. And no, there is no linear connection in storyline to Zombi 2. Not that there needs to be. Just watch the fun.
In my county these films are called Zombie Flesh Eaters 2 & 3. It gets very confusing. I've had conversations about these films and halfway through realised were talking about a different movie. There's a Zombi 5 as well - aka Killing Birds.
The Ghosthouse series of films is also equally confusing. They were unoffical sequels to the Evil Dead and somewhere down the line David Hasselhoff shows up. I think, the mind plays tricks... |

I went to the library and soaked up every ounce of knowledge they had to offer in film-making !
After that what I said before , about magazines , books & dvd's on everything that had to do with it !
I found what the meaning of life is throughout this hard journey , and it is to do what you love , what is your passion , and make a life / career of it !!!
Make your mark with it , so you would be remembered far after your death !
If you are true to yourself and go after your dream then it will happen , as long as you figure out that those that want to tell you you can't are the ones that are miserable in their lives , and want you to be miserable too !
For misery truly does love company , and I'm not falling for others wants !
You only get one shot at life !
So no matter what your passion is in life , always shoot for the moon , that way even if you fall short of your target , you'll be among the stars !!!!! |

Gorehound, are you shooting your movie digitally? What equipment are you using? Are you going to buy a moderately priced DV cam or rent something more fancy like the RED ONE? What editing software will you use? Final Cut or something like that are you going to use a professional editing suite? |
